Volunteer Opportunities!

Membership:

__ Coordinate membership (keep members informed and involved)

__ Greeter at bi-monthly meetings

__ Keep people without email informed (must have email)

__ Phone bank (for getting rare, emergency messages out)

Projects:

__Help working with local city & county governments (We'll need A LOT OF PEOPLE on this)

__ Other projects: Help with other projects that come up such as Event Planning, helping make Sandpoint U of I campus green, letters to the editor, legislative alerts, etc.

Education Committee:

__ Help prepare educational segment for bi-monthly educational forums

__ Work with schools

__ Help plan occasional public programs

__ Help educate the public about climate change issues and the Climate Action Plan

Administration:

__ Marketing (including website)

__ Help write a column for the paper (job will circulate)

__ Fundraising committee

__ 501c3 administrator

__ Historian (collect and organize articles about ClimateCAN, in print and online)

__ Help with secretarial duties as needed

On Call:

__ Be on call to help with jobs as they come up
